The Jeff MacNelly “cartoon” on July 20 (Editorial Page), showing a brassiere labed “Official Jock of the 1996 Olympics,” was reprehensible. It was smutty, degenerate, disrespectful and completely beneath a newspaper of the supposed quality of the Tribune. It smacked of little boys behind the outhouse, snickering over National Geographic. My husband and I found it completely offensive.
