Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

One of your Page 1 stories on July 14 was headlined, “We all wish our raises could be like Mike’s.”

Not me!

Look at all the things I would not have to worry about if I did not make $25 million a year:

– I wouldn’t have to worry if $137,000 was enough to buy Jackie O’s scarf.

– I wouldn’t have to make up my mind whether to buy an Infiniti or a Mercedes.

– I wouldn’t have to worry where to put my money: stocks, bonds or whatever.

– I wouldn’t have to worry about whether to buy an estate on Cape Cod or an island in the Bahamas.

– I wouldn’t have to figure out how not to give a big chunk of money to Uncle Sam.

Now that I got all of the “who needs it?” thoughts off my mind, how much is the lottery worth today?
