Rev. H. Conrad Hoyer, 89, of Minneapolis and formerly of Chicago, died on Saturday. He was a former associate executive secretary for the National Council of Churches and a past president of Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups. He was the author of many articles and books on missions and ecumenism. Rev. Hoyer served parishes in Madison, Wis., and Chicago. He is survived by his wife, E. Margaret Hoyer; five children; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday in Minneapolis.
