Mary Ellen “Lee” Avery, 59, a homemaker and former resident of the West Lawn neighborhood, died Tuesday at home in Las Vegas. She was a native of Dublin, Ireland. Survivors include her husband, Lou; a daughter, Donna Koegel; two sons, David and Len; a sister; a brother; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday in Las Vegas.
