The second of what could be an annual Project Lemonade festival will be staged from noon and 3 p.m. Saturday in the Woodstock Square.

Last year’s Project Lemonade was organized in opposition to a Ku Klux Klan rally at the McHenry County Courthouse. More than $3,000 in donations were raised last year, according to Sherryl Engstrom-Sommerville of the McHenry County Inter-Faith Peace & Justice Committee.

Engstrom-Sommerville said the funds were distributed to organizations promoting ethnic and racial harmony.

She said the afternoon’s activities will include speeches, poetry readings and Mexican and Incan dances.
