The overhead emergency lighting system on a Buffalo Grove police squad car was stolen Wednesday or Thursday while the car was parked at Al Piemonte Ford, 801 E. Dundee Rd., to receive repair service, police said. Barbed wires on the fence surrounding the lot had been cut, police said.
