Tools valued at more than $1,200 were stolen from a van parked in a driveway on the 1300 block of Sundown Drive overnight Thursday, police said. It appeared that a hammer found in the van was used to smash the driver’s-side window, allowing the thief to open the sliding door. The van belonged to Creative Stairs and Woodworking, police said.
