John Thomas Dix, 76, a former vice president of the technical publishing division of Dun and Bradstreet, died Sunday in Hilton Head Island, S.C. A resident of Northfield and Hilton Head Island, he was born in Chicago and raised in Kenilworth. He attended New Trier High School and Colgate University. Mr. Dix served as a lieutenant in the Air Force. He was a former board member of the Kenilworth Park District. Survivors include his wife, Irene; two daughters, Barbara George and Lucie Phillips; two sons, John Thomas III and Robert; and 12 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Kenilworth Union Church, 211 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth.
