Regarding the letter titled “Latvia’s struggle,” by Kevin O’Donoghue (Voice, Aug. 5):
Thank you, Mr. O’Donoghue, for telling the truth so well and for giving of yourself and your time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Latvia. I’ve met several young Americans recently who have worked in Latvia with the corps or other agencies, and I am much heartened by their empathy for and their understanding of Latvia’s struggle. You are truly making a difference.
