Clare Lancaster, 93, a resident of Chicago’s Near North Side and a community volunteer, died at home Wednesday. Mrs. Lancaster was on the board of the Big Sisters of Catholic Charities. She was the widow of former 37th Ward Ald. William Lancaster. Survivors include a son, William J. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Name Catholic Cathedral, Superior and State Streets. Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
