Olympia H. Klajda, vocalist at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Chicago, died Thursday in her Glenview home. She was 91. Miss Klajda, who was born and raised on Chicago’s Northwest Side, sang at weddings and funerals for many years. She sang opera at the church and performed on several occasions with Polish opera star Jon Kapura at the Civic Opera House. Miss Klajda had been the office manager at the electrical supply and repair company that she owned with one of her three brothers. She is survived by a sister, Alice Newman, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in N.H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Church and Grove Streets, Glenview.
