A Lake County coroner’s jury will hear testimony in the July 29 shooting death of Amy Horne, 19, of Zion.
Horne was fatally shot in the Zion apartment she shared with her mother and Joseph Davis, 18, during what authorities described as a modified version of Russian roulette.
After fleeing the apartment in the 2700 block of Enoch Avenue, Davis was arrested in connection with Horne’s death and charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly shooting Horne in the chest, authorities said.
