The deadline for Chicago Public Schools students to update their health records has been extended to Tuesday.
New pupils and those entering the 5th or 9th grade need to have a complete physical. First graders are exempt if they have had a physical within a year of enrolling.
Pupils may remain in school after the deadline if they show proof of a scheduled medical appointment.
