The commentary by Kathy Stevenson “Outdoor holiday decorating going too far” (Op-Ed, Oct. 15) was right on the mark. Yard decorations in excess are not only tacky and tend to boggle the mind, they lack a point of interest and are plainly–a bore.
To those who cringe as they drive by the holiday cesspools in their neighborhoods, smile and remember: Someone has to take down, (probably on a cold and miserable day), pack up and store all that glitz!
