Thanks to Clarence Page for his trenchant update on the effects of the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy failure (Op-Ed, Oct. 23). Clearly this policy has been both destructive and discriminatory. Thanks, too, to Page for admitting that he has changed his mind because the policy doesn’t work. I wish we had more people like him in Congress!
