Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and its supplier, Hawe Yue Inc., have been ordered to pay $6 million to Nike Inc. for infringement of Nike’s design patent on Air Mada shoes. The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia also ordered an injunction prohibiting Wal-Mart and the supplier from continuing to sell the shoes.
