Benjamin Sugarman, 83, a retired executive, died Thursday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Mr. Sugarman, of Chicago, was an innovator in the use of graphics arts cameras in the printing industry. He had been chairman and chief executive officer of Consolidated International, a Chicago printing and graphics arts equipment company. Survivors include his wife, Claire; three daughters, Nancy, Judy and Barbara; a son, Joseph; a brother; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 1035 N. Dearborn St., Chicago.
