To probably no one’s surprise, the Tinley Park Village Board voted Tuesday night to grant a change in plans for the Bristol Park subdivision.

Blackwater Construction will build six 16-unit buildings rather than the five 24-unit structures approved previously, resulting in a reduction of 24 units.

But the revised plan continues to worry residents concerned about density and reduced property values.

Representatives of the developer said the number of units was reduced to give the units a more intimate, neighborly feel. They said they also reconfigured the buildings, eliminating the long hallways found in the existing buildings in the subdivision.
