The United Kingdom’s Ethical Holdings PLC has formed an alliance with Monsanto Co.’s G.D. Searle unit in Skokie to develop Ethical transdermal patches used for hormone-replacement therapy. Searle will be responsible for selling the patches in the U.S., Asia and some European markets.
