Children with a lot of free time on their hands over the holidays will be looking for things to do, and the Chicago Park District might just have their ticket.
The district’s Winter Break Campus will include sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and other activities. Some camps will also have mural programs overseen by professional artists.
The camps start Monday and run through Jan. 3. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camp fees range from $5 to $50 and may be waived for low-income families. The mural program is free.
