The Sunlight District Association, which is composed of 21 Baptist churches from the Chicago area, will pay tribute to civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Church choirs will honor King in song and in recitations from some of his speeches. The program, “The Dream Still Lives: We Shall Overcome Someday,” also will include a discussion of the impact of welfare reform.
