Three current and former executives of foreign-owned firms who conspired with Decatur, Ill.-based Archer Daniels Midland Co. to fix prices for the livestock feed additive lysine entered guilty pleas in federal court in Chicago for their roles. The three–Kanji Mimoto, formerly of Ajinomoto Co. of Tokyo; Masaru Yamamoto, formerly of Kyowa Hakko Kogyo Co. of Japan; and Jhom Su Kim, president of Sewon America Inc. in Paramus, N.J.–were ordered to pay fines ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 apiece.
