Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be remembered during a ceremony to honor his triumphs and legacy.
The Elgin Human Relations Commission and the Dr. King Jr. Holiday Committee is presenting the 12th annual commemoration ceremony, which will include a presentation of the 1997 Dr. King Humanitarian Award to a local individual, business and organization. Admission is free.
