Now that Mayor Richard Daley and Park District President Forrest Claypool, both honorable men, have more time to replace Meigs Field with another park, I respectfully suggest they have the steps at the corner of Columbus Drive and Monroe Street, leading to the under-ground parking lot, repaired.
Anyone who uses the stairway to get to the Art Institute or Goodman Theatre, especially on a wintry day, is in danger of falling and perhaps suing the city and all the honorable men involved in this neglect.
