American Airlines, facing a possible pilots strike on Feb. 15, again proposed to settle the contract dispute through arbitration. The offer comes two weeks after the Allied Pilots Association, which represents American’s 9,300 pilots, rejected an earlier arbitration proposal. Meanwhile, to publicize their grievances, American pilots launched informational picketing Tuesday at several airports, including O’Hare International.
