I feel I must speak out about the Bears’ firing of 30-year veteran head trainer Fred Caito. I think it is appalling that so little concern was shown to a man who has devoted his entire working career to the Bears organization. Shame on you, Mr. McCaskey. Shame on you, Coach Wannstedt. But that’s business today, right? All heart! Young staffers better not make any long-term career plans.
