Director Ron Howard, who launched his show-biz career on the “Andy Griffith Show,” is returning to the small screen in his capacity as a major Hollywood filmmaker. Imagine Entertainment, the production company Howard owns with Brian Grazer, has signed a deal with Walt Disney Television to develop sitcoms, dramas, TV movies and mini-series.
