Three top executives are leaving Apple Computer Inc., Cupertino, Calif., because their jobs have been eliminated in the company’s latest reorganization. Satjiv Chahil, senior vice president of corporate worldwide marketing; Fred Forsyth, senior vice president in charge of the Power Macintosh product group, and John Floisand, senior vice president of worldwide sales, are leaving. Apple, the nation’s fourth-largest maker of personal computers, is suffering big losses and shrinking sales. The company has said it would cut $400 million in annual costs. Apple officials said the executives were leaving as a result of the company’s new, centralized organization. Industry analysts said Apple job cuts could run as high as 3,000 employees, about a fifth of the company’s work force.
