The White Sox radio station put up a billboard near Wrigley Field that said “Major league baseball–8.1 miles south.”
Since it is hard to know whether the Cubs or White Sox will do better this year, I will not object to a little bragging by the South Siders. But there is one difference between the two teams you can count on. If the Cubs want to do a little bragging, maybe they should put up a billboard on the Dan Ryan at 35th Street that says, “Major league baseball park–8.1 miles north.”
