IMC Global Inc. said its IMC-Agrico Co. joint venture is temporarily cutting the production of diammonium phosphate at its central Florida facility by about 50,000 tons a month, bringing its total cutback in production to about 100,000 tons a month. The Northbrook-based company said a slowing of international shipments that normally occurs before big demand for the domestic spring planting season led to the cutback.
