I reported last week that Martin E. Marty, University of Chicago religious educator, had burst out of a crowded pack to become the first winner of the new Martin E. Marty Award for the Public Understanding of Religion, bestowed by the American Academy of Religion.
Now I learn that the job of Christa C. Mayer Thurman Curator of Textiles at the Art Institute of Chicago has been filled.
