Ameritech plans next month to refile its application to provide long-distance service to Michigan telephone customers. The Chicago-based firm withdrew its original application Feb. 11 after federal regulators rejected a competition agreement between Ameritech and AT&T Corp. that was a key component of the application. Ameritech is the only Bell telephone company to file such a request with the Federal Communications Commission.
