Ralph J. Knippen, 85, of Harvard, died Monday in Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in both Europe and the South Pacific, and he was a member of the Harvard American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He worked at Dean Foods for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, James and John; a daughter, Anita Fink; and two grandchildren. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. in Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 206 E. Front St., Harvard.
