Birthday: Nov. 7.
Birthplace: St.Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Occupation: Entertainment reporter.
Current home: Los Angeles.
Marital Status: Single.
Car: A 1994 hunter green Jeep Cherokee.
Working on: “Entertainment Tonight.”
The last good movie I saw: “Jerry Maguire.”
I stay home to watch: Everything, because I never know whom I’m going to interview and I want to check them out.
Favorite book: I haven’t had a chance to read a book in the year since I started here, but I do read every magazine and newspaper and gossip column.
Favorite performers: Stevie Wonder, Prince and UB40. I have pretty eclectic tastes.
Favorite pigout food: Chinese food cooked in very little oil.
Favorite childhood memory: At a time when I was feeling down, my grandmother told me, “You know what? All you have to do is reach for anything you want and it will happen for you.” When I feel depressed, I think about her encouragement.
People always think I’m: Halle Berry.
My hero: Martin Luther King. I took black history in the 6th grade and came to appreciate him even more as I got older.
My fantasy is: I’m running along the beach in St.Thomas. I haven’t done that since I was a little kid.
Most irrational act: My freshman year in college, I took my rent check–I was making minimum wage as a disc jockey–and I bought a ticket to L.A. to sit in the lobby of a radio station trying to get a job. And I got it.
If I weren’t a reporter I’d be: Something in fashion, like a buyer. I’m such a clothes horse.
Major accomplishment: Accepting my mom for the way she is. You know how moms want more for their kids? She’s a tough critic, but I know her criticism comes from love. She is who she is.
The words that best describe me: Really cool chick.
