Birthday: Oct.18, 1962.
Birthplace: Brooklyn.
Occupation: Actor.
Current home: Los Angeles.
Marital status: Married a year and a half to Gina Spano.
Car: A gray, four-door 1988 Volvo. It was the first car I ever bought. I was playing on a hockey team and it was big enough to haul three players and all their gear. To me a car is just something to get you from here to there. It has a great sound system and I love it.
Working on: I’m on “Prince Street” on NBC-TV, and I’m working on a movie, “A Brooklyn State of Mind.”
Favorite pigout food: Linguine with pesto.
The last good movie I saw: “Star Wars.”
I stay home to watch: I hadn’t watched television in 15 years. Then I decided to see my pal George Clooney in “ER” and I couldn’t believe how good the show was and how much it has done for him. Little by little, I’ve been watching more and more.
The book I’ve been reading: “The War of the Worlds” by H.G. Wells. “Independence Day” is loosely based on it; I wanted to read it before seeing the movie.
Favorite performer: Bruce Springsteen.
Prized possession: I’m sentimental toward my first Super 8 camera. I got it when I was 14.
Nobody knows I’m: A complete nerd.
People always think I’m: Andy Garcia.
I’m better than anyone else at: I would have nothing to say to that. I’m not better than anyone else.
My fantasy is: I’m on a spaceship headed toward the unknown.
The worst times in my life: When I’ve had my heart broken.
If I’ve learned one thing in life it’s: Nobody knows anything.
Most humbling experience: Climbing mountains.
The three words that best describe me: Youthful, passionate and focused.
