Aaron Ross, 90, former owner of a fabric-upholstery store, died Monday of heart failure in St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Ross served as a pharmacist in England during World War II. He owned Home Fabrics on the Near North Side for more than 20 years. Mr. Ross also volunteered for the Northwest Home for the Aged. He is survived by a daughter, Sheila Stults; two granddaughters; and 11 great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held Wednesday in Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave.
