Norman Mandell, 67, part owner of the National Wrecking Co., died Monday in Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. A Deerfield resident, Mr. Mandell established the demolition contracting company in 1954 with his brothers. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; a son, Allen; a daughter, Penny; three brothers; and four grandchildren. Services for Mr. Mandell were held Tuesday.
