Dealers from around the world will be bringing rare books to the Chicago International Antiquarian Book Fair, which opens Thursday and runs through Saturday at the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe St.

Collectors from beginners to connoisseurs will be able to purchase items ranging in cost from a few dollars to many thousands. Part of the proceeds will benefit Literacy Chicago.

Fair hours will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, noon to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 312-951-9600.
