Fred E. Broling, 93, of Crystal Lake, formerly of McHenry and Chicago, died Thursday at the Fountains Health Care Center in Crystal Lake. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; a daughter, Margaret Johanson; a son, Fred W.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday.
