Oceans Day on June 8, a celebration of our living oceans and a call to action to maintain their health, features activities at the Shedd Aquarium culminating with a presentation by internationally known marine biologist Dr. Sylvia Earle.
Other activities include a look at the ocean through a shark’s eyes.
Oceans Day programs run from noon to 4 p.m. and are free with Oceanarium admission, which is $10 for adults, $8 for children ages 3 to 11 and seniors, and free for children 2 and under. Call 312-939-2438.
