-The fat-burner exercise of choice at many leading spas is hiking. It’s easy and enjoyable to walk an hour or more during each workout, even for beginners.
-Trails with varying terrain are best for expending calories, especially if you go uphill for some portions of the hike. Going downhill is excellent toning for the hamstrings.
-Just be sure to hike in a good pair of shoes (to avoid blisters) and bring plenty of water (at least a quart per hiker) while communing with nature.
