Arthur Allen, 86, a German immigrant who served as a translator for the Nuremburg War Crimes tribunal, died Tuesday in Evanston Hospital. Mr. Allen, a German lawyer who fled the country in 1939, settled in Chicago where he worked as a credit manager for various companies. He is survived by his wife, Leah; and a sister. Services were held Thursday.
