Meet Chicagoland chefs and sample their specialties at the Gathering of Herbs Festival, a European-style, open-air market of fresh culinary herbs, hard-to-find beans, rice and grains and edible flowers held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the courtyard of Quigley Preparatory Seminary.
All the esoteric goodies will be for sale, to the accompaniment of a live jazz concert.
