Sam Smith gazed into his crystal ball (June 3) and came to the conclusion Michael Jordan will be back, Phil Jackson will return and Scottie Pippen most likely will be a Bull, but Dennis Rodman is gone.
Smith is not unlike the NBA referees who seem to feel Rodman’s antics are bad for the image of pro basketball. But it is not Smith or the referees who are paying big bucks to see the Bulls play, and the roar of the crowd every time Rodman pulls down a rebound or makes a shot speaks volumes about how the fans feel about him.
