Lt. Gov. Bob Kustra might wish to mute his gee-whiz musings over the sort of campaign distortions that now bear his name (“A few thoughts on being `Kustracized,’ ” Op-Ed, June 9). He is still the lieutenant governor of Illinois in part because Jim Edgar “Kustracized” Dawn Clark Netsch for her school financing plan–virtually the same plan state legislators now worry will be their ticket to Kustracization. And no wonder. It worked so well for the governor.
