Birdhouses created by Chicago’s top architects, designers and artists will go on the block Thursday during “The Third Annual Birdhouse Auction.” The auction, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Motif, 1101 W. Webster Ave., benefits Chicago House, which provides housing and supportive care for persons with HIV/AIDS.
Last year, collectors bid as much as $1,600 for a single birdhouse.
This year’s creations are on display throughout June at Motif.
