Concerning the current uproar about horses versus bikes using Cook County Forest Preserve trails (Page 1, June 3):
There is much debate on whether dogs should even be allowed in parks (even on a leash), and there is a law about scooping their poop. So I am wondering if horse owners are put through the same scrutiny. I sure wouldn’t want to bike or walk through horse-sized poop! I just hope that the same laws apply to them as to us dog owners.
