Lorrie C. Basler, 70, a longtime Skokie resident, died Wednesday at her home. Mrs. Basler, who was born in Chicago, moved to the north suburbs in the 1950s. “She really enjoyed being with her peers, visiting with them, luncheon and trips; she liked that,” said her son, Kit. Mrs. Basler is also survived by three stepsons, Curt, Ned and Rick; 11 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; her mother, Charlotte Brosky; a brother; and a sister. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Lambert Catholic Church, 8148 N. Karlov Ave., Skokie.
