We weren’t too surprised when we didn’t see many kids in discotheque getups at the U2 concert. (We did spot some glitter eyeshadow – way retro! – and colored hair.) Plus, we saw a bunch of lemon-fresh U2 concert Ts. A couple of older dudes thought they had the edge on fashion and sported fly sunglasses and black cowboy-type hats in an attempt to look like Bono and The Edge.
Also spotted: lots of Birkenstocks (those comfortable walking shoes in case you get lost where the streets have no name); scads of backpacks (you might want to rummage through them in case you still haven’t found what you’re looking for); and at least one velvet dress.
Apparently, lots of folks took pride in their outfits – we didn’t spot anything that looked like it would wake up a dead man.
