I just wanted to let someone there know that, in my humble opinion, Ed Sherman is the best golf writer I have had the good fortune to stumble upon. As a longtime golf addict and a journalism professional with unlimited access to wire stories, I have read many samples from many places. Ed’s words make the rest of the offerings taste like cafeteria food–high in fat and no matter how many choices, everything pretty much tastes the same. Ed pleases the palate with the careful creativity of a royal chef. I will eat at “Ed’s Place” as often as I can.
